Moments with Grandmother

Most Sunday mornings after church we go to Grandmother's for breakfast. This morning was a little more memorable than most because Donnie, Debbie, Grandmother, Blake, Jace, Ben and I were able to watch the implosion of the Ownesboro's Executive Inn. It was pretty neat to watch and a few moments after we watched it we all heard the rumble of it. The boys even thought it was "COOL!" The boys enjoy spending the time at Grandmother's where she always has delicious food, often made especially for them and a variety of toys to play with as well. Last week Ben and I helped her put some things inside for winter and I told her that we were trying to set a good example for the boys so that they will teach their children and grandchildren the same thing. She laughed a little and then told me that Mom had just told her the very same thing a day or two before! Great minds do think a like and Mom learned it from watching Grandmother do things to help take care of Mom Reisz.

Camping in the backyard!

So the boys have wanted to go camping this summer so this weekend we were finally able to fit it into our schedule. They had a blast. They ran around the yard in and out of the tent up and down the playset. Too have that much energy would be amazing! Camping in the tent is such a good father/son bonding time that I was only able to take pictures before I was forced to come back in the house and take a long relaxing bath!

Ashley Beth- Blake and Jace wore the pajamas that you had picked out for them for their birthdays a year ago.

The video was of them telling you that they love you! It was much plainer in person!

Blake was pretty upset when Ben carried them inside at 4:30 a.m. so that he could go do Sunday morning chores! Jace didn't even flutter an eye for the move!
